The Revend Julian Mary Guillou died on the 7th instant at the residence of the Bishop of Natchez, aged 39 years. He was a native of the parish of Bignon near Nantes, and was one of a band of missionaries brought from France by Bishop Chanche in 1849. His last illness, says the Courier, was contracted from the consequence of exposure and privations endured at Corinth, while attending the wounded and sick after the Battle of Shiloh.
