"The Plastering and Stucco Work have been done by J. Carkeet & Sons, of our city, men of experience, skill and judgment in their vocation; the Carpentering, Joining and Carving by Natchez Carpenters (we were unable to learn their names); the Sash and Stained Glass by Messrs. Benson, of New Orleans. The entire work was designed and has been personally directed and superintended by Mr. Peter Warner, Architect, whose great merits are patent in all he undertakes, and which he invariably consulates most satisfactorily."
